The beach is just a stone's throw away
With its 1,100 pitches and direct access to the fine sandy beach, the campsite is starting to settle into its summer rhythm. The first families are settling in, the water park is coming to life and the sea (which reaches proper swimming temperatures for the first time in June) naturally becomes the highlight of the day. A wonderful energy at the start of the season, before the July crowds arrive.
It is also the month when the evenings stretch into the late hours, when people dine al fresco by the light of the last rays of sunshine, and when the beach at Saint-Aygulf takes on an almost surreal hue at sunset.
A strategic location on the Côte d'Azur
That is one of the great advantages of Camping Saint-Aygulf Plage: its ideal location between Saint-Raphaël and Sainte-Maxime, in the heart of the Gulf of Fréjus. The Saint-Aygulf market is just a few minutes’ walk away, and by car, everything is within easy reach:
- Saint-Raphaël and the Estérel massif – red cliffs, coastal paths and unspoilt coves to explore in the morning
- Fréjus – Roman heritage, an old town and beaches just a few kilometres away
- Sainte-Maxime and Saint-Tropez – the elegance of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez within easy reach via a beautiful coastal road
- Cannes – a 45-minute drive away, for a trip to the Croisette
The Music Festival – 21 June
On 21 June, the whole region will be buzzing with the Music Festival. In Saint-Raphaël, more than 50 free concerts and 350 musicians will create a lively atmosphere in the town until late in the evening — from 6 pm at Place Saint-Jacques and then until 10 pm in the square in front of the town hall. An evening not to be missed, just a few minutes from the campsite. The perfect opportunity to combine a day at the beach with an evening of music in the open air, in a typically Mediterranean festive atmosphere.
