In October, the French Riviera shifts into a different rhythm. The height of summer is behind us, the beaches return to their peaceful self, and the light grows softer. In Saint-Aygulf, temperatures remain pleasant enough to enjoy the sea, walks, and the landscapes of the Var without the hustle and bustle of peak season.
It’s also the perfect time to experience the campground in a whole new way. The campsites become quieter, days are spent outdoors, and travelers in tents, RVs, or campers enjoy a special setting that combines the beach, nature, and freedom. Camping Saint-Aygulf Plage remains open until October 31, 2026: October is therefore the last month to enjoy this destination before it closes for the season.
The Roc d'Azur is coming to the region
From October 7 to 11, 2026, Fréjus will host the 42nd edition of the Roc d’Azur CIC, a major international mountain biking event. The event brings together competitors, recreational riders, and enthusiasts at the François Léotard Nature Center. Several races wind through neighboring towns and the landscapes of the Estérel.
For cyclists, the campground is a convenient base: whether you’re staying in a tent, trailer, or RV, you’ll be set up just steps from the sea. A bike repair kit and an electric charging station are available to help you prepare for your ride, adjust your bike, or charge an e-bike before setting off on your adventure. After a workout, there’s nothing like a stroll along Saint-Aygulf Beach to unwind by the sea.
This is your last month to take advantage of this offer
For those who want to participate in the Roc d’Azur, plan a motorhome getaway, or simply enjoy one last outdoor vacation before winter, October is your last chance to stay at the campground this season.
Reserve your spot and extend the season between the Mediterranean, the Estérel Mountains, and major sporting events.

October at Camping Saint-Aygulf Plage is the final getaway of the year: the sea air, the roads of the Estérel, and the pleasure of camping a little longer under the Var sun.
